~ Inner Muses – Poem by Muse ~

aspiring revolutions of a deep azure haze…
whose mental concoctions forever a synapses blaze…
peering beyond the windows of a contented smiling face…
i hear the words of soulful cries midst aquatic space…
and every tear that falls upon the ocean is my own…
compounded empathy of painful hearts shall not row alone…
for all the inner muses are destined to linger on the water to linger on the shore…
to embrace the humanity of man, both now and forever more.
(muse)

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.

It’s often just enough to be with someone. I don’t need to touch them. Not even talk. A feeling passes between you both. You’re not alone.
― Marilyn Monroe

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart
― Helen Keller

  1. What shall we do with all the voices that stir within? Purge or embrace them? I see you have learned not only to embrace them, but have literally (no pun intended)grown to accept and nourish them. I believe all writers have muses. Larry Curly and Mo, are my three friends.

Who have had absolutely nothing to do with you creating what I believe is the best work I have read this year. It is not fluff. Nor is it empty. It is in effect, a layered compound of wishes, hope and love to all of man and to oneself.

    Bravo Muse.

  2. Oh Muse! “every tear that falls upon the ocean is my own” Like you looked into my life, and wrote these words. Love how you see all of us.

  3. It can be said we all have many parts of our one. Letting minds and hearts be changed each day as each day changes us.[I dig Marilyn]

  4. Knowing you through times I see only one you MS Muse. Of kindest heart. I will choose this “painful hearts shall not row alone” to be the line of your stirring poetry today. And the quote of Psalm is a cherished treasure. Glad you are in blogging world again.

  5. HA! Did you notice the earlier comments ended with the word “us”. Appropriate considering we the readers and you and your many muses. Reading, drawing and other talents you do possess. If there is more than one of you I could believe it!

  6. Thank you for the information link you sent my way!

  7. Entangled personalities. Yes, I have them. I think a lot of creative types do. There are some days I am many and some days i am just one. Little sweet Jane! (hey did you faint?) snicker snicker.
