“It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure.” Albert Einstein
Graphics relay through visual means – information – calls to action or proclamations of self. Computer illustration, i.e. computer graphics are rendered in vector format; typography may be implemented.
Graphics are a vital component to entities seeking to ‘brand’ themselves or their company. We often refer to this creation as a ‘logo’. A graphic can be one color and highly straightforward (consider a silhouette) or an artistic approach may be desirable. Either selection should have the ability to be printed crisply and to immediately evoke a response from the viewer.
As with all art, it truly comes down to personal choice.
Pansylee VanMeteren, (muse) of Poetic Pastries, has designed and facilitated graphic work in the fields of business, fashion, medical, educational, finance, film, advertising, faith based and social leagues.
Graphics are indeed visual communication; saying the right thing, as concisely and attractively as possible, is vital. Let the studio help you find your voice, today (please check the search word ‘graphics’, to find samples in the studio’s creative journal).
