Rice Paper Geisha

Painting

Application on rice tea spritzed paper, (well known for watercolor applications) takes a new twist when the areas of the paper are painted with a resist (which contains the flow of the paints), allowed to dry and outlined with traditional pine soot ink. To control the dying skeleton, a sewing needle is used in place of a brush. Originals arts are sold in house and commissioned. Photographs of experimental designs are made into prints and sold at the Online Studio.
